Government, maritime, nuclear, infrastructure and investment leaders came together at Bluecore Energy HQ to discuss what it will take to build the next generation of reliable, zero-emission energy.
On September 15, more than 100 leaders across government, maritime, nuclear energy, infrastructure, investment and technology gathered at Bluecore Energy headquarters inside the Port of Long Beach for the inaugural Bluecore Energy Summit.
The conversation brought together Bluecore Energy Founder & CEO Kofi Asante; Long Beach Mayor Rex Richardson; Port of Long Beach CEO Dr. Noel Hacegaba; and Slauson & Co. Managing Partners Ajay Relan and Austin Clements.
Together, they explored growing energy demand, the role nuclear energy can play in meeting it, the opportunity presented by maritime deployment, and the collaboration across government, industry, infrastructure and capital required to move ambitious energy projects into the real world.
The conversation was followed by a tour of Bluecore Energy’s headquarters, development facility and maritime platform at the Port of Long Beach. The Port separately described the event as part of its ongoing dialogue around responsible energy exploration and emphasized that any potential application remains years away and subject to a safety-first process.
